I grew up in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, where I cultivated a deep love for horses from an early age. I have cherished memories of watching exhilarating races from my father's shoulders at Arlington Park. One particularly special moment was meeting Black Tie Affair, the magnificent gray horse who won the Arlington Million. He was so gentle, happily accepting peppermints from my hand while I visited him at the hunter/jumper facility where I took lessons.

When I wasn't riding, I was immersed in learning about the racing world, often perched on the back of our couch with an exercise saddle, dreaming big. My passion blossomed into a dream come true when I opened my own competitive riding stable in my twenties. I also attended the Bristol School of Farrier Science, spending over 20 years as a dedicated trainer and assistant in the racing industry.

I absolutely love sharing my passion by teaching riding lessons to everyone—children, adults, and especially individuals with special needs. I train hunters/jumpers for local competitions and community events, fostering a love for equestrian sports within my community.

My rewarding journey with Pirate's Punch began when I met him as a spirited three-year-old. Loading him onto a trailer for our trip to Indiana Grand, I quickly formed a strong bond with him. His career has brought me countless wonderful experiences, and I am so proud to retire him now, ensuring he has the happy and comfortable life he deserves beyond the racetrack.
